Argentinian club Racing Avellanada held their annual shareholders meeting yesterday during which the figures surrounding Lautaro Martinez’ transfer to Inter was also revealed.

According to the club’s official financial statement, Inter paid €14 million initially with another €7 million in add-ons to Racing bringing the total value of the transfer to €21 million. The Argentinian club also announced that negotiations are still ongoing regarding how much money should be paid to the player’s first club Liniers.

Argentinian media also report that after agent fees, bonuses to the player and the aforementioned payment to Liniers, Racing stand to earn around €11.5 million for the transfer of Lautaro to Inter. Racing have in return guaranteed a minimum fee of 10% of €14 million when and if Inter sell the player on, meaning that at least €1,4 million must be paid to Racing when and if Inter decide to sell Lautaro. Furthermore, any sum above €14 million, Racing will earn 10% if the difference in the sums.
