Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport draws up a table summarizing the tops and flops of recent transfers market dealings.
Among the tops i.e. those who have increased their value since the time of their transfer we see a place for Milan Skriniar: “A year ago, some people said that 35 million was too much for him, but now, Inter have rejected a 75 million euro offer and is working to keep him for a longer time.” Other players that have appeared on this list are Barella, Audero, Cancelo, ANdersen, Biraghi, Meite, Chiesa, Insigne, Piatek, and Bernardeschi.
Among the flops, we see players like Meret, Karsdorp, Caldara, Bakayoko, Benatia, Calhanoglu, Pastore, Schick, and Paladula. We also see two Inter players on that list: Dalbert: “We have seen glimpses of what he can do after the disappointment he has shown in his first season as an Inter player. The left back is still there, which was left by Roberto Carlos” and, obviously, Joao Mario: “He ended up being lost after the bitter disappointments of the last two years. After a €45 million move, he has failed to impress and is now stuck at Inter, partially due to his impatience to find fortune elsewhere.”
