Inter’s Chief Football Operations Officer Giovanni Gardini stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A clash away against Lazio in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, with kick-off at 20.30 CET.

The former Hellas Verona Director was asked about the unveiling of Steven Zhang as the club’s new President and what this could imply to which he replied: “With a strong owner like Suning you can not think of having medium-level objectives. We know what awaits us, every game is important, the results are fundamental to continue the path we have taken.”

“The presence of Steven Zhang is one that fills us with great pride, he lives every moment with great intensity and passion. He has demonstrated daily how much he holds Inter close, he is living this moment with great satisfaction. This new path will lead us to obtain the results he is hoping for” Gardini concluded.
