Suning and Erick Thohir remain at loggerheads over the value of the Indonesian’s shares in the club according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

Suning are looking to obtain complete control in the Nerazzurri and will do so by acquiring the 31.05% shares that Thohir holds in the club. Talks have been ongoing for a few weeks and with Thohir officially leaving his role as club president, it can only be presumed that an agreement will be reached in the not too distant future.

The Milan based newspaper also bring an update on Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s seemingly inevitable arrival at the club. This week he will bid farewell to Juventus and could be part of the Inter board of directors in the coming weeks thereafter. Inter owner Jindong Zhang and club president Steven Zhang want him at the club and former club owner and president Massimo Moratti has given his blessing also.
