Tonight’s match between Lazio and Inter will pit two of the most coveted players on the transfer market against one another in the eyes of Tuttosport.

One Lazio’s side there is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Serbian, who is regarded as one of the most complete midfielders in the world, is valued by Lazio at around €150 million and was subject to intense interest in the summer transfer window but no club was willing to meet Lazio’s evaluation. The 23-year-old recently signed a new long term contract with the club and his value is only sure to rise.

On Inter’s side there is Mauro Icardi. The striker and club captain may only have a €110 million release clause in his contract in comparison but it is fair to say about the Argentine that he is worth €150 million himself too when the release clause is taken out of the equation. By Christmas, the 25-year-old should put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Nerazzurri.
