As a guest expert commentator in the studio of Sky Sports, former Inter and Azzurri legend Giuseppe “Beppe” Bergomi had the following to say about Inter’s magnificent victory over Lazio yesterday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
“This was an important success for Inter, because the players remain motivated. I continue to think that the two teams Juventus are most afraid of are the two Milanese teams, Inter and Milan, something I say with the utmost respect for Napoli and Roma,” he said.
He proceeded to praise his beloved Inter, who he spent his entire playing career with, for the way they have played this season
“With Inter playing like this, with personality and continuous growth, it adds a little more pressure on to Allegri’s Juventus team. When you have one of the two Milan teams behind you you feel more pressure. Having said that though, Juventus still remain a great team themselves.”
