Mauro Icardi shared his thoughts and feelings about Inter’s dominating 3-0 win over Lazio in an interview with Inter TV post match.
“I am good, we are good and you seen it in the game. It was important for us to give continuity to the results we have achieved in the league after the loss in the Champions League. We knew that we had to keep our heads up high after a very good period.
“Every day we try to do better than the last and correct small mistakes we have made. Inter must win and that is the important thing. From tomorrow we will be back on the training pitches to prepare for the next game that will not be easy.”
The Argentine then spoke on being handed the free-kick near the end of the game.
“I wanted to score a hat-trick. They told me I could have a go and I tried.”
He concluded the interview by stating that he has no personal objectives for the campaign in terms of having a goal target.
“On a personal level, I never like to make promises. I started badly and I have not made a goal. The results are important for the team, my goals are for that.”
