Davide Lippi, the agent of Inter winger Matteo Politano, has spoken on his client’s better than expected start to life at the Nerazzurri.
“I must say that even knowing his potential, getting to wear such a heavy shirt in Inter’s and immediately be so important in this team has surprised me a bit,” Lippi revealed in an interview with broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Lippi proceeded to thank Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for the confidence he has shown in his client and tipped him to further improve.
“He can still improve but we are happy even if we are only at the beginning of his time at the club. I am glad that Mr. Spalletti has immediately given him confidence and he is slowly repaying his trust with performances and commitment. He is giving everything for this shirt. It takes a lot to do well and I am convinced that it is even harder to do so well having come from a smaller club.”
