Corriere della Sera have examined Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s seemingly imminent arrival at Inter and have revealed contract details and what kind of role he will be fulfilling at the club having now formally left Juventus.
“For the 61-year-old there is a three-year contract ready and waiting for him worth €3 million per season which includes bonuses.
“His arrival will not immediately upset the Nerazzurri board, but instead the former Juventus chief executive will direct the internal choices of the club. He will enter the board, but his entry is not tied to the exit of the directors of Erick Thohir that is annoying Suning with his high demands for the sale of his 30% shares.
The report concludes by looking toward the summer transfer window and further Chinese investment.
“He will find a situation of excellent economic availability. From July 1, Inter will exit the constraints of the settlement-agreement. More money will come from China thanks to the reforms promised by the Beijing government.”
