Alessio Cragno’s agent, Graziano Battistini, spoke on his client’s current situation amid alleged interest from a series of clubs in an interview with Radio Spotiva.
“Alessio is doing well, he must continue like this. Cagliari has helped him to mature and he is facing the season with determination and serenity,” he said.
Battistini proceeded to speak about the interest in the Italian shot stopper while appearing to reveal that his client is perhaps not in such a rush to move on.
“There have been offers for him in the past but the past is the past and it must be emphasised that he is already playing for an important team in Cagliari.”
Cragno is believed to be one of the keepers earmarked by Inter as a long term solution for once veteran goalkeeper Samir Handanovic hangs up his gloves. The 24-year-old has made 11 appearances across all competitions this season for the Sardinians, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
