Genoa manager Ivan Juric has heaped praise upon Inter during his pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s trip to the San Siro tomorrow afternoon.

“Inter are a great team. They have made a leap in quality compared to the past. They know exactly what they are doing on the pitch and they do it impeccably well,” Juric told the gathered media.

Juric, who is in his third spell as manager of the club in the past two years, then went on to speak about the difficulty of the fixture pile-up that he and other clubs have had to deal with this term.

“We knew this was the fixture list, we have just got to accept it. Playing every three days certainly doesn’t help us.”

He concluded his conference by challenging his team to try and put in a similar performance to what they did against Milan on Wednesday night.

“We played well against Milan and now we will try to repeat that against Inter.”
