Rome based Corriere dello Sport discusses the turnovers and rotations that Luciano Spalletti has been doing with Inter this season, focusing on the number of starts that some of the players have had and how much they are relied upon.
“The only ever constant starter has been Samir Handanovic, but there have been other players that have played a lot. In the 13 total games played this season, Brozovic has played in 12, with 11 of which coming from a starting role. Brozovic was spared against Spal as he recovered from an injury against Cagliari. These are the same numbers for Asamoah. Skriniar was unavailable against Sassuolo but has started in the other 11 games. Icardi was involved in 11 games this season, with a starting role in 10 of them. Perisic has been benched three times this season while starting all the other games. While Politano and Candreva have been alternating games together. Vecino has also started 10 games this season. Radja Nainggolan’s apperances have been tainted by his injuries this season, otherwise he probably would have been next to Handanovic on the list of players that are always starting.”
