Now the news has been made official and Giuseppe Marotta is no longer the CEO of Juventus after the club announced the mutual termination of the contract between the parties.

Noted Italian football and finance outlet, Calcio E Finanza, reveal that Marotta was paid €750,000 for agreeing to terminate the contract. According to the report the former Atalanta and Sampdoria Sporting Director, has earned €20 million during his years in charge of the Bianconeri.

This is comprised of all the wages he has earned through the years at the club for all the roles and positions he has held at Juventus.

Marotta has a long career in Italian football having achieved a lot of success through the years such as being the general manager of Venezia when the club reached the Serie A for the first time in 30 years. Marotta joined Juventus as the club’s General Manager ahead of the 2010/2011 season and after a disappointing first season, Juventus have won 7 straight league titles.
