Inter could look to bring back some of their former academy graduates to assist them in their Champions League squad list for the years to come according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Due to financial fair play reasons Inter were forced to submit a reduced squad but would greatly benefit from having homegrown players in their squad, a quota Inter did not fill for this year’s competition.

Fiorentina duo Marco Benassi and Cristiano Biraghi are both being considered by Inter and Genoa’s Daniel Bessa is another. As per the report, Inter sporting director will pay particular attention to Bessa in the match with Genoa.

Moreover, Inter can welcome back several academy grown youngsters who are currently out on loan this season namely, Federico Dimarco, Andrea Pinamonti and Xian Emmers. Andrei Radu is currently on loan at Genoa who have a redemption option upon him and Inter have a counter-option, something they could look to exercise for the benefit of the squad list.
