Inter’s Talks With Skriniar Over Contract Renewal Continue

Inter’s talks regarding a contract renewal for Slovakian international central defender Milan Skriniar are ongoing in the background Italian media outlet TMW report.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri are looking to extend Skriniar’s contract until the end of June 2023. Furthermore, TMW report that although there is some distance between what is being offered and what is being requested, the parties have gotten significantly closer to each other during these past few days.

The situation looks pretty clear, according to the report, and new decisive contacts could be taken early next week. There is also a possibility that a redemption clause could be inserted into the contract but that it would be high, above €100 million however Inter want to avoid this situation to avoid teams trying to sign their star man.

Skriniar joined Inter in the summer of 2017 from Sampdoria and has since then been an integral part of the squad.
