Inyter’s Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to share hos thoughts after the first half at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

The former Sporting player was asked about the Nerazzurri’s first 45 minutes which ended in a 2-0 lead for the home side, in part thanks to Joao Mario who had a great half to which he replied: “We already knew that it was a difficult match, we are at home and we want to win in front of our fans.”

In conclusion Joao Mario was asked how Inter will approach the second half to which he replied: “We have to look to score the third goal and close the match off, we know that we have to go back out on the pitch concentrated because 2-0 is a dangerous result.”

Joao Mario has started the two last Serie A matches against Lazio and today against Genoa and has given two great performances.
