Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa has once again been quizzed on his future at Santos where he has spent almost the past year on loan at the club from Inter.
“If I am being honest, staying here is very complicated. I want to enjoy the remaining matches because they could be the last ones in this shirt,” he said in an interview with the media following the Peixe’s 3-2 defeat against Palmeiras.
The 22-year-old striker is understood to have attracted interest from fellow Brazilian sides Cruzeiro, Flamengo and Sao Paulo in recent weeks as well as interest from many clubs across Europe.
