Nainggolan Back Right On Time & Ready For Inter’s Game Against Barcelona

The long-awaited joy on the least predictable day, Radja Nainggolan returned to the field and scored after being out due to an injury to his left ankle. Nainggolan scored his first goal at the San Siro in an Inter shirt. Gazzetta dello Sport report on the importance of Nainggolan and how much hard work he has put in while working on returning to the pitch.

“Fourteen days ago Nainggolan injured his ankle in a clash with Biglia in the derby, which forced him to miss the Barcelona game at the Camp Nou. This was a massive blow for Nainggolan, who wanted to go to Spain and show what he and Inter are made of, but instead of getting depressed, Radja immediately started working hard to get back to the pitch as quickly as possible.”

Now here he is, after missing the games against Lazio and Barcelona, he scored a goal against Genoa and is now ready to be a starter against Suarez and his teammates on Tuesday.

“Yesterday Spalletti threw Nainggolan onto the pitch with three minutes to go, perhaps just to give him a feeling of playing in an official game and get him back into the groove of things, but Radja ended up doing much more than that, he managed to score a goal in the final minute of the game. Now Radja is ready to run fearlessly towards the game against Barcelona.”
