Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio stopped by Italian broadcaster Piero Ausilio to share his thoughts going into tonight’s Champions League clash against Barcelona at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Ausilio began by highlighting how important the crowd is: “The crowd and surroundings are with us. We are in our home, in our stadium, there’s a lot of enthusiasm. The team is responding well, with the right conviction. I think people are close to the team and what our players are doing.”
“We need to take the physical and technical aspect into account. We have prepared well for the match and I am convinced that Inter will give the performance that we have to give.”
“We are taking it one match at a time. No doubt the win against Tottenham gave us the self confidence that helped us win but matches like this give you a lot of conviction” Ausilio stated in conclusion.
