Inter managed to get one point against Barcelona in the Champions League after captain Mauro Icardi equalized at the death in a match where the guests dominated throughout the match.
In a match where Barcelona were in complete control from the first to the last minute, the Nerazzurri somehow got one point and reaffirmed their second spot in the group behind the Blaugrana who created more than enough chances to win.
However, equal parts wastefulness by Barcelona and brilliance by Inter goalkeeper Handanovic kept things all square until Malcom scored in his Champions League debut. That is until Spalletti brought on Lautaro Martinez who caused havoc in the Barca defence leading to Mauro Icardi scoring the equalizer on Inter’s only shot on target.
