The wife and agent of Inter captain Mauro Icardi, Wanda Icardi, was as per usual on the Italian TV show Tiki Taka late last night where she is a regular pundit.
Wanda was asked about a rumored interest in her husband by Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain to which she replied jokingly: “They have never called me, they don’t have my phone number.”
Wanda then turned to the Champions League clash against Barcelona tonight at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district. When asked about the absence of Lionel Messi she stated: “I want him to play on the pitch, just like Mauro does.”
In conclusion she was asked about her husband’s experience with the Catalan club to which she replied: “He has many beautiful memories of the club, he grew up there. He has a wonderful friendship with Lionel Messi.”
Icardi played for the Barcelona youth team before making the switch to Sampdoria and the Serie A.
