Atalanta Manager Gian Piero Gasperini looks set to be forced to do without defenders Rafael Toloi and Andrea Masiello for this weekend’s match at home to Inter according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

32-year-old Masiello has missed the Bergamo based club’s past three games and will once again sit out as Inter come to town on Sunday.

Toloi has meanwhile been working separately to the rest of his teammates this week due to an injury to his right ankle. The Brazilian centre-back only began to notice the pain during training on Monday and is described as being in ‘serious risk’ of missing the game against the Nerazzurri, meaning Gasperini will be without two of his three starting centre backs.

The Milan based newspaper go on to state that Gianluca Mancini will retain his place in the team covering for Masiello while Berat Djimsiti will be the player that comes in for Toloi.
