Samir Handanovic shared his delight at picking up a point from the Champions League match with Barcelona in an interview with Inter TV following the match at San Siro.

“I knew it would be tough but that is okay, we got a point and we are happy with it. With the rain it is more difficult to play but we are used to it and we played well today. These games against big teams help us to grow. They put created difficulties for us but we did good things and we can do what they do but it takes time. We have shown it against Milan and Lazio,” he said.

The Slovenian shot-stopper then spoke on Inter’s next game against Atalanta.

“We have several days to recover before we face Atalanta. We must always be ready as Atalanta are a difficult team to play and therefore we have to be prepared.”
