What is in store for Gabriel Barbosa’s future? The player’s loan to Santos is set to expire at the end of the year and all the parties involved need to find a solution.

Rome based Corriere dello Sport reporting on the situation and explain what Inter would like to do: “The Brazilian club would like to keep the player on loan and pay only a part of his wages. Other Brazilian clubs including Flamengo and San Paolo have knocked on Inter’s door to ask about the possibility of loaning Gabriel Barbosa, but Inter would like to bring him back to Europe. Ideally, Inter would like to see if they can send the player on loan to a European club and then see if any offers will come for the Brazilian forward in the Summer transfer window.”

Barbosa has failed to make an impact at Inter for the period in which he was there, he was barely given any time on the pitch  even under multiple coaches, but the Brazilian has been performing very well ever since his return to Santos.
