Aleksander Ceferin was among those in attendance at San Siro last night as Inter and Barcelona played out a 1-1 draw in the Champions League group stage and commented on Inter and Milan’s shared home.

“I think it is a mid-level stadium, the fans were fantastic as well as the people there, the organization was perfect but the stadium could be improved and Italy in general has to improve its infrastructure. The football played, however, was good,” the Slovenian, who has been in his position since 2016, said in an interview with broadcaster Sky Sport.

Ceferin then spoke on Inter’s chances of making it out of the group.

“I witnessed a very good game, and in the end the result of a draw is right. It was an important result because Inter is the only team in the group to have met twice with Barcelona and for this reason I believe that the Nerazzurri have a good chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.”
