Former Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso believes that Inter’s recent form proves their status as the anti-Juventus, something he admits he believed they were even before the campaign begun.
“I have been saying since before the start of the season. For sure they are one of the teams that can undermine the Bianconeri the most. Juventus are a strong team that has been winning for sometime but i think Inter are going at the right speed,” the Argentine said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
Burdisso then spoke on Inter’s defence and had high praise for it.
“In my opinion, Inter have the best defence in all of Italy. There is always the defence of Juve, which is now historic but the Nerazzurri have nothing to envy about anyone. The players are known all over the world and are strong. Skriniar, de Vrij and Miranda can even all play together.”
