Former Milan defender Massimo Ambrosini shared his thoughts and feelings on the dual press release from Inter and Milan with regard to having the desire to work together with one another on the stadium issue.

“I would not like the possibility of leaving San Siro, it would be a mortal sin for both clubs not take advantage of what is already there in the stadium,” he said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

“It would appear that there has been a compromise of sorts between the clubs but compromises in life should be made when something is worth it. I am in love with San Siro and I think that what the clubs have done is the right way to find a solution for this issue. Then it is obvious that the two clubs should be satisfied too.”

Ambrosini spent 18-years on Milan’s books between 1995 and 2013 and since retiring following a brief spell with Fiorentina, he is now a pundit.
