Radja Nainggolan trained separately to the rest of his Inter teammates in training today according to a report from Sky Sport.

The Belgian showed visible signs of struggle in his hour-long performance in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Barcelona and he is in doubt for this weekend’s trip to nearby Bergamo to take on Atalanta. As a result he has been placed on a personalised training regime to help aid him in his recovery

With Nainggolan out, the Italian broadcaster states that it is between Borja Valero and Joao Mario to replace him with the Spaniard currently in the lead to do so.

Nainggolan picked up a knock to his ankle in the Milan derby and missed the two games thereafter. He got a cameo appearance – which he scored a goal in – in Saturday’s 5-0 demolition of Genoa which convinced Luciano Spalletti to give him the start against Barcelona, where, as aforementioned he struggled physically.
