Icardi (6 goals), Perisic (2 goals), Brozovic (2 goals), Nainggolan (2 goals), Gagliardini (2 goals), Politano (2 goals), Candreva (1 goal), D’Ambrosio (1 goal), De Vrij (1 goal), Joao Mario (1 goal), and Lautaro Martinez (1 goal).
Gazzetta dello Sport emphasises the importance of having so many different threats to the opponent’s goal:
“The fact that there are so many goalscorers at Inter ensures unpredictability in the attack, which allows the players to change easily without losing any attacking power. Luciano Spalletti always asks his players to impose themselves and get a chance on goal. Politano and Nainggolan are the clearest examples of this as they both have the ability to penetrate the opposing area centrally and that is how their goals have arrived. We are still waiting for Keita’s breakout, who scored 16 times in his last Serie A campaign (2016/2017) with Lazio.
