Gazzetta dello Sport have followed Corriere della Sera on examining the news of the renewed commitment of both Milan clubs to the San Siro.

“At the moment it is still too early to talk about new projects, but the ideas of the two clubs to make the most of a shared stadium are known and the timing is clear: the first exploration phase is to be closed by the end of 2018 so they could proceed with the planning and administrative activities required to deliver a modern stadium to the fans in the shortest time possible.

“The clubs are already looking into the future, they are asking for a re-planning of the entire San Siro area, with the possibility of making the Meazza an attraction 365 days a year. Above all, they are thinking about commercial activities linked to the stadium in order to increase profits. Steven Zhang is convinced that 150 million euros is enough to make a difference and get a good economic return in the future. For Elliot, thanks to Ivan Gazidis’ experience at Arsenal, he understands what it takes to build and improve a stadium and how important it is for improving the brand of a club.”
