Marino: “If I Were Inter, I Would Focus On Nicolo Barella”

Former Napoli director, Pierpaolo Marino, was interviewed by Rai Sport where he talked about Inter, Rafinha, and gave his thoughts on their future transfer markets. Here is what he had to say:

“If I were Inter, I would focus on bringing Nicolo Barella from Cagliari, his purchase would be an investment and he would cost about the same as the Brazilian. The fact that he has the same agent as Radja Nainggolan should make the operation a lot smoother and easier for all the parties involved.”

Inter have been interested in the Cagliari midfielder for a long time now, with Piero Ausilio constantly keeping a close eye on him and monitoring his situation in order to take advantage of any possible sale. Inter know that they will have to face stiff competition from both within Italy and abroad as Barella has attracted the interest of some of the top clubs in Europe.
