Interest in Sandro Tonali continues to grow and the latest club to join the growing list of suitors is none other than reigning Premier League champions Manchester City according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter are one of the many clubs keen on signing the central midfielder but now face competition from City, who had scouts in the stands at Brescia’s Stadio Mario Rigamonti yesterday as Brescia ran out 4-2 winners over Hellas Verona with Tonali getting in on the scoring action.
The 18-year-old has recently received a call-up to the Italian national team and is being tipped for a bright and big future with comparisons already being made to Italian footballing legend Andrea Pirlo.
Tonali is under contract with the Rondinelle through to the end of the 2020/21 season and is also understood to have interest from the likes of Juventus and Chelsea among many others in his services.
