Inter transfer target Andrea Mancini wants to follow in the footsteps of Marco Materazzi according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Atalanta centre back has been scouted for a number of weeks by Inter and impressed in his live audition at the weekend as he and his teammates thrashed Inter 4-1 in Bergamo.

As per the report, he sees a future in the Nerazzurri of Inter rather than that of Atalanta and the two clubs are already at work over a transfer involving him that would be completed in the summer transfer window.

Atalanta are expected to demand between €20 and €25 million for the 23-year-old but the player’s will could make the difference and result in a lesser fee being agreed between the two clubs who have good relations.

The report goes on to state that Mancini only wants a move to Inter and will knock back any other offers that are to arrive for him.
