Pirelli Chief Executive Marco Tronchetti Provera has been asked on Giuseppe Marotta’s seemingly inevitable joining of the Inter board

“These are management decisions, they are all professionals who know football well and any professional contribution is welcome at Inter,” he stated.

Tronchetti Provera then spoke on the Inter owning Zhang family and new club president Steven Zhang.

“The Zhang family is proving their passion for the team and have began investing after a particular period. Steven Zhang will be a passionate president and Inter is not just a marketing vehicle for him.
