Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong was quizzed on the alleged interest in his services from both Milanese clubs, Inter and Milan, during an interview with Voetbal International.

“Everybody wants to play for one of the best teams. There is not a top 10 team in the world I would not want to play for. It is difficult to choose just one,” the youngster said.

“Inter? I think they are a good team, but I would not like to go to Milan because they are not playing well and the club is in a period of chaos.”

Barcelona have also been quoted as being heavily interested in the Dutch sensation and he spoke on the Blaugrana and players and former players from the Spanish club he tries to mould his game from.

“I have watched lots of Barcelona matches when Messi, Xavi and Iniesta played togther. Maybe, subconsciously, I have tried to learn and adapt parts of their game to mine.”
