After over a year of courting him while a Juventus director, soon-to-be Inter director Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta could be set to try and bring Adrien Rabiot to his new club according to a report from Tuttosport.
The French midfielder, who currently plies his trade for PSG, is out of contract in the summer and Marotta could look to complete a deal in the upcoming January transfer window on a pre-contract basis with the player.
Rabiot is not the only player Inter are keen on and they face competition for all targets with Juventus after Rabiot, Roma after Hector Herrera and a whole host of both Italian and other European clubs for Nicolo Barella.
Centre midfield aside, Inter are also looking to bring in a new winger given Keita Balde’s poor form since arriving on loan from Monaco and it presently looking unlikely that Inter will take up their option to make his stay permanent.
Targets for this position are plentiful with Benfica’s Eduardo Salvio, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa being the main ones.
Moreover, the Turin based newspaper report that Inter are beginning the process of looking for Miranda’s long term replacement and have set their sights on Sampdoria’s Joachim Andersen.
