The Croatian national team were presented with various awards for their exploits during the summer’s World Cup by the nation’s President and among those receiving honours was Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

Brozovic, alongside his national teammates who finished second in Russia, was awarded with the order of the Duke Branimir, which is one of the highest honours anybody can be awarded in Croatia.

The midfield maestro took to social media to document the moment and posted photos of him receiving the award from President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic.
