In an interview to Sky Sport during an initiative that sees Inter together with their partner Credit Agricole, Antonio Candreva spoke about the Nerazzurri’s loss to Atalanta and the desire to get back to form immediately.
“The work in training has been short – we have a number of players away on international duty so the coach will speak more when we are all together,” the Italian said.
“We know we didn’t put in a good performance, but we’re aware of our qualities and we’re Inter – we learn from our mistakes.”
“We know what our strengths are this year and we have a good group. In Bergamo it’s always difficult for everyone, and the last two goals we conceded were as we were trying to hit back – although that’s not an excuse.
“We must kick on after that loss and do better in the next matches, because in Serie A it’s hard against everyone and we have already dropped points against the so-called smaller teams.
“We are focused on the Frosinone game and then we will think about the trip to London.”
“On a personal level it’s not easy – when you play less you cannot be happy. But we are a strong group and the important thing is to be ready when you are called up to play.”
