There is very little left to be done to formalise Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s entry in to the Inter board of directors and as per a report from Libero, he has already began work in a kind of unofficial sense.

Following Inter’s 4-1 thrashing against Atalanta, the former Juventus director phoned Inter president Steven Zhang to dissect it and the report goes on to state that he believes Inter have all it takes to get back to the very top in both Italy and in Europe.

Marotta’s entry seems like one of the worst kept secrets at the moment and various reports doing the rounds at the moment have suggested that he could be formally announced by the end of the month and could begin work in December.

He is expected to assume a role similar to the one that he had at Juventus but the role he will serve as Inter will not overlap any of those currently holding positions on the board.
