Soon-to-be Inter director Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta could once again try to sign Lorenzo Pellegrini according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Roma and Italy midfielder has impressed this season and has a clause in his contract that allows him to exercise a right to leave the club if a €30 million bid comes in. This clause is valid between the July 1 and July 31.

Presently, he is happy with the Giallorossi and is enjoying playing a leading role in Eusebio Di Francesco’s side and has no reasons to think about upping and leaving the Stadio Olimpico.

With an annual salary of €2 million, he could certainly be paid better elsewhere and for this reason Roma’s sporting director is trying to tie him down to a new deal that fairer reflects his value in the team.

If he keeps his form up, offers are likely to arrive and Marotta is a great admirer of his talents and tried to sign him while at Juventus while Pellegrini was plying his trade with Sassuolo and he will probably come back in for him the report details.
