After the break for international duty, Inter will return to action in Serie A against Frosinone.

Among the players who will arrive at San Siro next weekend is the Nerazzurri-owned forward Andrea Pinamonti. The Italian is on loan to Frosinone and has just scored his first goal in Serie A against SPAL, followed by another wonder goal against Fiorentina.

FCInter1908.com has exclusively interviewed Pinamonti and asked him about the present, the future and also about his relationship with Milan Skriniar:

After the first goal in Serie A, the second came immediately. And what a goal! Will you remember more the one scored at SPAL or the splendid one against Fiorentina?

“I will never forget the first goal in Serie A , it’s the goal that every single boy who starts playing football dreams of scoring. But then it must be said that every goal is exciting, unique and unforgettable, so the Fiorentina goal will always remain with me too.”

Only 108 minutes played and 2 goals with Frosinone. Do you think, after these two goals, that you can find more opportunities in the league?

“I’m very happy with the two goals despite not having played so much, but my goal is to always get the most out of training and make the coach have to make a difficult decision as to who should start.”

Next Saturday will be a special day for you. You will return to San Siro as an opponent against Inter, the team where you grew up. Are you already thinking about it? What feelings do you have in facing the Nerazzurri?

“I’m happy and excited to come back to San Siro, the stadium that has seen my debut in Serie A. It will be a special emotion because I will see many teammates with whom I spent last season and with whom I maintain an excellent relationship. It will not be an easy game, Inter is a team of absolute quality, but we will do our best to put them in difficulty and try to get a result.”

If a goal against Inter were to arrive, how will you react?

“Should the goal arrive I will not disrespect the Inter fans who have always supported me.”

Did Inter help you grow? What about your future? Have you spoken with the directors?

“I’m on loan at Frosinone and I think about only doing well for these colours, but also for my personal growth. I do not know what the future holds for me, I think day by day, I do not ask myself these questions.”

If you play against Inter, you will face your friend Skriniar. Can you sleep the night before? Do you often hear from him?

“With Skri I have a great relationship, he often feels like a big brother for me, last year he helped me on many occasions even outside the field, and besides being a great guy, he is one of the strongest defenders in the world and therefore it will not be easy, before the game I will ask him not to go too hard!”

In the last few weeks, it’s been reported that you’ve changed part of your salary from fixed money into performance-based incentives. What’s the reason behind this? Is it that you want to prove to everyone you can hold your own in Serie A?

“When I’m in the field, I try to give my best and that’s it! If I can be a protagonist in Serie A or not, only on the pitch will I be able to decide!”

Four consecutive results for Frosinone, now you’re in the hunt for safety. Do you think you will be able to keep this form up until the end of the season?

“We’re on a four-game unbeaten run and this is already a positive sign, which gives us confidence and self-esteem for the next matches. We will give our best to reach the goal we set ourselves at the beginning of the season.”
