Interviewed at the studios of Sky Sports 24, transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio took stock of the main players that’s contracts will expire in June 2019 and focused on the possible options for Inter.
“In England there are a number of players who have a contract which is expiring, but the clubs reserve the right for a renewal option to be exercised. In most cases they try to offer a contract renewal. I doubt Anthony Martial will leave on a free transfer, Manchester United will exercise the extension option. Toby Alderweireld is similar, maybe a more likely option is Jan Vertonghen whom Inter like a lot.
“The Nerazzurri are also interested in Herrera. I would like to see Adrien Rabiot in Italy, he has been talking about it for a long time: if he does not go to Barcelona or renew with PSG then Inter, Juventus and Milan can really try for him.”
