According to Tuttosport, Federico Chiesa is not the only Fiorentina player that Inter would like to acquire. Besides the winger (who is being courted by Ausilio, Marotta, and Spalletti, who are all sending him and his families messages of praise), Inter are also interested in Alban Lafont, their 19-year-old goalkeeper. The French youngster could potentially replace Samir Handanovic in a few years. Inter are also looking at midfielders Jordan Veretout and Marco Benassi.

For the latter, Fiorentina are looking for no less than €20 million euros, which means it will be hard to see him leave in January.

“Next season, Inter can return to having a UEFA squad list of 25 players and would like to insert some home grown players into that list. Marco Benassi would be one of the players that is targeted by Ausilio as he is proving to be an interesting option in midfield as he would allow Spalletti to have a more flexible midfield when needed.”
