Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic has spoken on the injury woes he has had to deal with over the course of the international break including the injury to Sime Vrsaljko.

“We have a problem with injuries at the moment, especially with Sime Vrsaljko who can not play every three days, we have to solve this problem by the next international break in March,” Dalic told vecernji.hr upon his return to Croatia after Sunday’s 2-1 UEFA Nations League loss to England at Wembley Stadium.

Vrsaljko was forced to leave the field through injury just 27 minutes in to Sunday’s game and he was evaluated by Inter’s medical staff today.

Upon being examined it was ruled that he had sustained a thigh strain to his right thigh and that his condition will continue to be monitored and he will again be evaluated in a few days time ahead of Inter’s match this coming weekend at home to Frosinone.
