Napoli are all set to make a move for SPAL’s Manuel Lazzari according to a report from Il Mattino.

Partenopei boss Carlo Ancelotti has requested reinforcements to his team in the upcoming January transfer window and Lazzari’s name is at the top of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli’s notebook.

Lazzari, as per the report, has also been courted by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio and it remains to be seen if Napoli’s readiness to make a move for him will kick Inter in to gear.

The report from Il Mattino also reports that Napoli are keen on signing Manchester United full back Matteo Darmian. The Italian’s contract at Old Trafford is up at the end of the season and could see Napoli pick him up on a cut-price deal in January. Darmian has also seen previous interest from the Nerazzurri but with them having signed Sime Vrsaljko in the summer, it is unlikely that they will go back in for the former Torino player.
