Journalists hounded Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta as he left the Lega Serie A meeting to ask him about his seemingly imminent arrival at Inter.
Marotta arrived with current Inter chief executive Alessandro Antonello and has held talks with Inter’s owners Suning at their headquarters in China in recent days, all but confirming that his arrival is now a formality.
“We will talk later,” the soon-to-be Inter director is quoted as saying to the gathered media by Sport Mediaset journalist Marco Barzaghi.
