Former Inter goalkeeper Sebastien Frey has spoken on the imminent appointment of Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta in a directorial position at the Nerazzurri.

“Inter will still be the anti-Juventus with Napoli. I think that the Nerazzurri have made the best purchase of the season in Giuseppe Marotta. It was a very surprising decision by Juventus who ended the relationship with one of the best directors in Europe at the moment,” he said in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.

Frey also spoke on Fiorentina goalkeeper Alban Lafont, who has recently drawn links with Inter.

“Lafont has great quality and potential. It is not easy to be a foreigner and play in goal in Italy. There is a time to adapt and he’s seeing the difficulties and pressures. I have been to see him and everyone is happy with him, we often hear him: he has great personality on the pitch but he has humility too
