Dalbert is set for a period on the sidelines of between 15 and 20 days according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

The Brazilian full back picked up a muscle injury in training yesterday and Inter confirmed that he had been evaluated and that he would be checked again next week but did not give any time scale for a return.

Dalbert, who has been used as a player in the team to give others a rest every few games or so, was being tipped to play a part in Saturday’s game against Frosinone at San Siro but will now, for obvious reasons, be unable to do so.

As a result, Sky Sport report that Luciano Spalletti is likely to deploy Kwadwo Asamoah and Danilo D’Ambrosio at left and right full back respectively.

Moreover, they report that Borja Valero, Roberto Gagliardini and Joao Mario are all also in line for a starting berth.
