In the British Virgin Islands, there is a dense web of companies owned by Erick Thohir which appear to control the Indonesian’s 30% stake in Inter. This change in the former club presidents organisation, reported by Radiocor, appears to have taken place in early October.

Curiously, this is also the period during which Thohir would have been negotiating the sale of his stake in the club to Suing, as resigning as the sole director of International Sports Capital – the Italian company that used to hold the shares in the Nerazzurri.

The governance of the company has now changed in that there is a board of three members that will take charge for the next twelve months: Thohir, his right-hand man Isenta Hioe, and a new group Wilkie Road Limited who will be represented by Kwok Fai Lee. Wilkie Road Limited has an office in Milan, but is also registered as an offshore company under British Virgin Islands law. Kwk Fai Lee has been listed as their administrator since last June.

Pending the conclusion of the negotiations with Suning, it remains to be seen what led the Thohir to re-shuffle this group and include the off-shore company.
