In today’s paper edition of the newspaper, Turin based Tuttosport reports that Marotta could be setting his sights on big names arriving at Inter such as  the likes of Milinkovic-Savic, Modric, and Pogba.

According to the report: “Marotta knows that Inter are still after Luka Modric and would like to continue to pursue Milinkovic-Savic, who he was already after last Summer with Juventus, but there is another player that he could focus on, and that player is Paul Pogba.

“At this moment, Inter cannot go after signings of this magnitude as they are still under the settlement agreement with UEFA until June 30 2019, but Marotta has been reassured by Suning that from July 1 there will be more freedom in the transfer market. According to that, Inter will be able to aim for top players with greater freedom in the Summer of 2019, even if they obviously cannot completely forget about FFP. This is one of Marotta’s skills, he knew how to reinforce Juventus at the cost of selling a big player every year. Suning has so far opposed this strategy, but Marotta explained to Zhang that the growth of a team is more important than a single player, which is a strategy that Ausilio and Gardini were ready to put into practice last June, before the Primavera won the championship and the players attracted many suitors” the newspaper continues.

In short, according to Tuttosport, in order for Inter to make big moves on the market, they will have to sell one or more of their big players. It is thought that Skriniar who is valued at around €80 million and Perisic  who is valued between €30-40 million, depending on how his season will continue could be the two players that would go.
